ESTABLISHMENT AND SERVICES : Travolook is a website that gives offer to find cheap flight tickets, whether Domestic or International. Travolook provides everything in one area regarding the air tickets booking. It has stated to take off aggressive costs on flight tickets. It was founded in the year 2018 and the agency is located in Gurugram, Haryana. It enables users to search, compare and book flight tickets from multiple operators. This Website offers are applicable only those clients who are 18 years old ,and satisfy the other qualification prerequisites. On the failure of completion the prerequisites, client is not able to access the benefits given by the website, Travolook. Travolook satisfies his clients through a smooth function of ticket booking and payment. However, the refund of payment has always been a shortage of it.
LEGALITY OF TRAVOLOOK : After knowing about such a portal providing low cost flight tickets, the question of legality arises. As a data not found under MCA ( Ministry of Corporate Affairs), it seems to be fraud. Therefore, Many people have alleged that this portal is not genuine and claimed to be fraud.
COMPLAINTS AGAINST THE TRAVOLOOK : As it is often said that ‘there is always pros and cons of something’. In the past three years, Many people have complained against Travolook, online flight booking company. As per Voxya, an online consumer forum, the Consumer satisfaction score of Travolook is 43.56% because circa 163 consumer complaints have been received and out of which only 71 are resolved. India Consumer forum and Consumer Complaints Court, an NCO has also received various complaints against Travolook.
Further, the types of complaints Travolook clients have are:
- Refund not received from Travolook,
- Cancellation of tickets without any reason,
- Ticket not received but amount got debited,
- Delay in refund,
- Cancellation of refund without any reasonable ground.
COMPLAINTS BY TRAVOLOOK CLIENTS:
- Venkataraman Padmanabhan – My tickets to and from Madurai to Bangalore were booked and in a couple of hours cancelled. Refund is yet to be initiated.
- Tejasvini – I booked a ticket for Mumbai. They cancelled the ticket. Its been months now. No one responds on the customer care number. Tired of calling them so many times.
- Radhika Pai B – I had booked tickets through travolook. Tickets were cancelled on the same day but I have not received the refund yet.
- Naveen Tiwari – I booked a flight ticket from Travolook and made the payment. But I have not received any PNR till now.
- Apoorva Pandit – I had booked a ticket of Indigo Airlines for Pune-Nagpur Flight . It has been more than months now and I have not received any refund from them.
There are other such complaints but mostly all the complaints are related to – cancellation of refund; delay in refund; cancellation of tickets; and not receiving PNR( Passenger Name Record).
However, some people have also stated that they received the refund on time. But It can be said that the no. of people, who are facing the problems are more than those who got the refunds.
