Krishan Pal is the Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, born on February 4, 1957. He won his seat in the Indian general election, in 2014 as a candidate for the Bharatiya Janata Party by 466873 votes.
BACKGROUND: He won the Corporation Councilors’ election in 1994 as a member of the Bhartiya Janta Party and became Minister of State. He became a member of the Haryana Legislature in the Mewla Maharajpur region in 1996.
He has also won the MLA membership seat twice in a row. He served as Minister of Transport in the Bansi Lal government from 1996 to 1999. He later served as BJP Country President for Haryana
UPBRINGING: After completing his schooling, Shri Gurjar enrolled at Jawaharlal Nehru University, where he graduated in 1978. Those were his college years when his interest arose in politics, which is why he began to play an active role in student politics and became General Secretary of the college student union.
After graduation he also chose to pursue a Bachelor of Law degree at Meerut University, graduating with distinction. During this time of education he was deeply touched by the ideas and policies of the BJP, so he chose to become an active member of the BJP.
It was in 1994 that Mr Krishan Pal Gurjar entered politics by election by winning an election from a Company Councilor. That same year he was elected Minister of State.
WALK OF LIFE: It was in 1996 that Shri Krishan Pal Gurjar ran for office in Haryana Vidhan Sabha and was elected as an MLA member from the Mevla Maharajpur region. That same year he was re-elected as Minister of Transport for Haryana during the reign of Choudhary Bansi Lal.
He worked diligently and faithfully for his position as Minister of Transport and became a politician who was not concerned at this time. In the next general election he was re-elected as a MLA member of the Mevla Maharaj Pur region and became the leader of the BJP legal team.
It was in this election that he appeared as the voice of the Commonwealth in the State Legislature. He did not win the 2004 election, but did not stop him from serving the common man, as he repeated his efforts and remained an active member of the state’s politics.
On July 9, 2009, the BJP offered him the position of party president and the election was held under his leadership and this year he was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Tigaav region.
