Champai Soren is an Indian Politician and is currently a Member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly representing Seraikella constituency of Jharkhand. He is the incumbent Cabinet Minister for Transport, Scheduled Tribes, and Scheduled Caste & Backward class welfare in the Government of Jharkhand. He is a tribal candidate but he fought from the general seat. He was elected as a Member of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly 4 times in a row.
Soren is a member of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) party. He achieved his first feat when he won and became the Member of the 2nd Jharkhand Legislative Assembly in 2005.
