Arup Roy is an Indian politician. He is a cabinet Minister in Charge for Agricultural Marketing department, of Government of West Bengal. He is presently the Minister in Charge of Co-operation department of Government of West Bengal.
He did his graduation in Commerce from Calcutta University and completed his Bachelor of Arts from Calcutta University. He did his Bachelor of Legislature Law from Calcutta University in 1984.
He was elected as an MLA from the Howrah Madhya constituency in the West Bengal state assembly election, 2011.
