CAREER TIMELINE –

1982- Enrolled himself as an advocate. He started his practice in the Rajasthan High Court in matters of Constitution, Service and Labour Laws. Through the years he worked as Standing Counsel in Rajasthan High Court, then in Rajasthan Financial Corporation, Board of Secondary Education, and in various Banking Institutions. Electricity Board and Educational Institutions.

2004- He was promoted to the position of the Rajasthan High Court.

2013- Held the position of the Executive Chairman of the Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority.

2016- Assigned as the Acting Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court.

LANDMARK JUDGEMENTS-

Devi Lal vs The State of Rajasthan (2019)- The case was regarding the conviction of the appellants under Section 302 and Section 120 B of the Indian Penal Code by the High Court of Rajasthan in 2009 that sentenced them to life imprisonment.

The appellants then sought for the intervention of the Supreme Court. Due to the arguments presented against the appellants being circumstantial evidence and it acting more as a suspicion than as proof, the court gave benefit of doubt to the accused and the appellants were released.
