The mysterious case of late actor Sushant Singh Rajput who was found dead in his apartment at 14th June which also remained in limelight for various factors has now taken another twist.

Sushant Singh’s sisters Priyanaka and Meetu Singh are now in fear to get arrested by CBI at any moment and hence have requested the Bombay High Court for early hearing to quash the FIR filed by Rhea Chakraborty accusing both the sisters to illegally prescribe medicines to deceased without any proper consultation from the specialist doctor.

FACTS

The bench of two judges comprising Justice SS Shinde and Justice MS Karnikhas has adjourned the hearing of the said case on 4th November.

In the FIR, Rhea has claimed that Sushant Singh died after two weeks of consuming the medicine prescribed by her sister. She has taken references from the chat and cited that as evidence to show the carelessness on grounds of improper consultation of the doctor.

The petition filed by two sisters have claimed the prescribed medicines to be consumable and in compliance with the guidelines issues and not banned by Medical Council of India.

In response to the petition, Adv. Satish Maneshinde representing Rhea Chakraborty has stated that the deceased was living in Mumbai Nd not in Delhi and the doctor who has prescribed is cardiologist and is not fit to prescribe medicines of psychotropic substances even without examining him as there is no evidence to prove that there Sushant Singh was in contact with the doctor.
