Singh added that the salaries from June to October were paid only after the contempt plea was filed in the Supreme Court.

The AAP government was ordered by the High Court on 29th July, to discharge the funds to (NrDMC) North Delhi Municipal Corporation that it required to pay stipends of resident doctors of six hospitals run by the civic body.

The Delhi High Court asked the AAP government to discharge an amount of Rs. 8 Crore to as done earlier, to NrDMC not waiting for completion of all paperwork so that the resident doctors can be paid their salary.
