Shahi Idgah’s Management Trust Committee in Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura has filed a plea in a court in the Krishna Janmabhoomi case.

The plea is filed in objection to the admission of a plea seeking ownership of 13.37-acre land near Mathura’s temple and removal of the Mosque.

Till now, around three pleas have been filed in this case.

The third plea was filed by a total of five plaintiffs including Virajman Thakur Keshav Dev Ji Maharaj Katra Keshav Dev, that has requested the shifting of the Shahi Masjid Idgah, which was built on a part of his land.

The suit filed also demanded the nullification of the deal entered in 1968 through a Mathura court ruling, confirming a land deal between Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan and the Shahi Musjid Idgah Management committee.

Advocate Mahendra Pratap Singh said, “The main request is shifting the Shahi Masjid Idgah built in a part of land of Virajman Thakur Keshav Dev Ji Maharaj Katra Keshav Dev.”
