Imran Khan: 80% Chances That I Will Be Arrested

Imran Khan, the Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), expressed his concern that he might face another arrest when he appears in court in Islamabad on Tuesday for the Al Qadir trust case.

The former prime minister speculated that the ruling coalition’s eagerness to remove him from the political arena is driven by their fear of losing the 2019 general elections.

Imran Khan also accused former Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa of trying to destabilize his government. He expressed confusion about why Bajwa would make such attempts, questioning the motives behind the alleged actions.

Imran Khan, the Chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), has expressed his expectation of being arrested again when he appears in court in Islamabad on Tuesday for the probe related to the Al Qadir trust case. In an interview with international media, Imran Khan stated that there is an 80% chance of his arrest during the court appearance.

He attributed the ruling coalition’s determination to remove him from the political landscape to their fear of losing the 2019 general elections. Imran Khan also accused former Pakistan Army Chief Qamar Javed Bajwa of attempting to destabilize his government, expressing his confusion over the motives behind such actions.

Imran Khan mentioned that his party has experienced a crackdown, resulting in the arrest of over 10,000 workers, including senior party members and women.

Imran Khan has informed the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) that he is willing to participate in the probe related to the Al Qadir Trust Case next week. He specified that he can appear for the investigation on Tuesday at 11 AM.
