First Bengali Superstar Actor Soumitra Chatterjee died today from Covid-19 in Kolkata, informed his daughter on Facebook.
Dadasaheb Phalke award-winning Legendry actor was 85. He was battling with COVID-19 over-a-month with multiple ailments.
Bengali Superstar Actor Soumitra Chatterjee tested negative a few weeks after he was admitted. But due to his other health issues his condition soon deteriorated and he was put on a ventilator.
Soumitra Chatterjee was admitted to hospital in Kolkata on October 6 after he tested positive for COVID-19.
He recovered from the infection, but his condition did not improve as he suffered from multiple ailments, including neurological complications.
