A United States Federal Court ordered a New Jersey based organization named Natural Solutions Foundation, to put a stop on distributing unapproved and misbranded Drugs such ‘nano silver’ as a treatment drug for Covid-19.

The decision comes after a Complaint was filed at the request of United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on November 13, 2020. The FDA Alleged that Natural Solutions and its trustees Dr. Rima Laibow and Ralph Fucetola, violated the norms of Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act (FDCA) when they distributed ‘nano silver’ as a treatment Drug for Corona Virus.

The Acting Assistant Attorney General of the Justice Department’s Civil Division stated, “Marketing unproven products as treatments for COVID-19 endangers public health and violates the Law. The department will work closely with the FDA to stop anyone attempting to take advantage of the pandemic by selling unapproved, misbranded Drugs.”

The Acting Deputy Director of the FDA’s Dietary Supplement Programs stated, “The FDA will continue to aggressively pursue and hold accountable those who jeopardize public health. Today’s consent decree demonstrates that we will use all of our authority to stop companies that prey on the public during a global pandemic by selling unapproved new Drugs.”

Natural Solutions agreed to settle the matter and to be bound by a consent decree of Permanent Injunction. The Ruling given by the Federal Court Ordered the Defendants to permanently stop from violating the FDCA and destroy any product related to ‘nano silver’ in their possession.

It is also mandatory for Natural Solutions to notify the FDA before distributing any kind of Drug in the future. The Defendants were also Ordered that they must permit the FDA to inspect their procedures regarding the distribution of Drugs.
