A suit has been filed in Mathura court seeking removal of the Shahi Idgah mosque near the birthplace of Lord Krishna. Two pleas have been filed previously and a consecutive third one on Wednesday.

The third plea filed by a total of five plaintiffs including Virajman Thakur Keshav Dev Ji Maharaj Katra Keshav Dev has requested the shifting of the Shahi Masjid Idgah which was built on a part of his land.

The suit filed also demanded the nullification of the deal entered in 1968 through a Mathura court ruling, confirming a land deal between Sri Krishna Janmasthan Seva Sansthan and the Shahi Musjid Idgah Management committee.
