The Supreme Court of India in its meeting has suggested the transfer or re-transfer of 17 High Court Judges.
The Judges whose names have been suggested are-
1. Justice Jaswant Singh- Currently serving in Punjab & Haryana High Court and has been suggested to move to Orissa High Court.
2. Justice Sabina [PHC: Punjab & Haryana] – Currently serving in Rajasthan High Court and has been suggested to move to Himachal Pradesh High Court.
3. Justice T.S. Sivagnanam- Currently serving in Madras High Court and has been suggested to move to Calcutta High Court.
4. Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra- Currently serving in Orissa High Court and has been suggested to move to Uttarakhand High Court.
5. Justice M.M. Shrivastava- Currently serving in Chhattisgarh High Court and has been suggested to move to Rajasthan High Court.
6. Justice Soumen Sen- Currently serving in Calcutta High Court and has been suggested to move to Orissa High Court.
7. Justice Ahsanuddin Amanullah- Currently serving in Patna High Court and has been suggested to move to Andhra Pradesh High Court.
8. Justice Ujjal Bhuyan [PHC: Gauhati]- Currently serving in Bombay High Court and has been suggested to move to Telangana High Court.
9. Justice Paresh R. Upadhyay- Currently serving in Gujarat High Court and has been suggested to move to Madras High Court.
10. Justice M.S.S. Ramachandra Rao- Currently serving in Telangana High Court and has been suggested to move to Punjab & Haryana High Court.
11. Justice Arindam Sinha- Currently serving in Calcutta High Court and has been suggested to move to Orissa High Court.
12. Justice A.M. Badar [PHC: Bombay]- Currently serving in Kerala High Court and has been suggested to move to Patna High Court.
13. Justice Yashwant Varma- Currently serving in Allahabad High Court and has been suggested to move to Delhi High Court.
14. Justice Vivek Agarwal [PHC: Madhya Pradesh]- Currently serving in Allahabad High Court and has been suggested to move to Madhya Pradesh High Court.
15. Justice Chandra Dhari Singh- Currently serving in Allahabad High Court and has been suggested to move to Delhi High Court.
16. Justice Anoop Chitkara- Currently serving in Himachal Pradesh High Court and has been suggested to move to Punjab & Haryana High Court.
17. Justice Ravi Nath Tilhari- Currently serving in Allahabad High Court and has been suggested to move to Andhra Pradesh High Court.
The meeting of Collegium was held on 16th September, 2021.
