On September 8, 2021 a member of the Supreme Court appointed panel on agriculture laws, said the report submitted the panel is absolutely 100% in favor of the farmers and the Supreme Court should take matters into its consideration without any delay.

The president of Shetkari Sangathan along with the member Anil Ghanwat, wrote a letter to the Chief Justice of India on 1stSeptember, urging him to make the report public to clear all the scruple of the farmers.

Further, the committee stated that they believe there are some errors on the agriculture laws that needs to be addressed, and said they aren’t in favor of repeal of the three laws as the farmers.

Anil Gilawat said that main concern of the farmers is that they believe Minimum Support Price (MSP) will be exhausted, which is not true. The agriculture farm law does not talk about the wiping of MSP.

Besides, during the suspension of the implementation of the three farm laws, the Supreme Court constituted a committee on January 12,2021 and Anil Gilawat was nominated as the member representing the committee.
