SDM Court of Ratlam District rejects appeal for diversion of multi-crore land in Jaora

The Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Court of Ratlam district, Madhya Pradesh has rejected an appeal for diversion of 4.329-hectare disputed land of Premier Oil Mills.

The Court has further stated that the land is a government property and directed the Tehsildar to demarcate the land and ensure its safety.

Suresh Kumar Jaju on behalf of Premier Oil Mills appealed before the SDM alleging that some of the lands purchased by leaders on same survey number was identified as private while the one belonging to Mills was declared as government land which is “Discriminatory”.

The appellant has said that he would approach the Commissioner and High court against the SDM Court order claiming that the land is private and the sale certificates he has are a legal decree.

Earlier, Jaora MLA Dr Rajendra Pandey had raised the issue and the matter was taken up several times in the State Assembly.
