In connection with the money laundering case, Delhi Court has prolonged the Enforcement Directorate’s (ED) detention of Delhi Health Minister Satyendar Jain till June 13.

The ED stated that raids on the homes of Jain and his alleged collaborators yielded Rs 2.85 crore in cash and 133 gold coins as part of a money-laundering investigation, but the AAP called the seizure a “fraud” and accused the agency of attempting to ensnare him in a phoney case.

Satyendar Jain was arrested on May 30 under the criminal sections of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
