Satyendar Jain, Arrested In Money Laundering Case, Admitted To Hospital

In Judicial Custody ,since being detained by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a case of alleged money laundering last month, Delhi Minister Satyendar Jain was rushed to the hospital when his oxygen levels dropped.

Mr Jain, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on May 30 under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).

He was brought from Tihar Jail to GB Pant Hospital first, and then shifted to the LNJP Hospital. His condition is stable,” a source told

 Mr. Jain has already stated that he suffers from sleep apnea and needs medical attention. The ED, however, has informed the court that he said this to obtain bail based on medical justifications.

After the ED finished questioning him in his custody, he had filed a Bail application and is currently being held in judicial custody. 

 The Delhi Court refused to grant him Bail.
