Renovated Court Complex at Pampore, Pulwama inaugurated by the CJ of Common High Court of J&K and Ladakh.

The renovated Munsif Court Complex at Pampore was inaugurated on 24th February, 2021 by the Chief Justice of Common High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territories, Justice Pankaj Mittal accompanied by Judge Common High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, Justice Ali Mohammed Magray.

Principal District and Sessions Judge Pulwama, Mohammad Ibrahim Wani, Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Dr. Raghav Langer, SSP Awantipora, Registrar General, Jawad Ahmad, Principal Secretary to Chief Justice, members of Bar Association and others were present on the occasion.

It was brought to the attention of Chief Justice that the Rs. 95 lakhs project includes facilities such as courtroom, e-court, lock up, record room, advocates chamber and computer room. It was also mentioned that the complex has been constructed over 10 km of land to accommodate the Court of Civil Judge, Munsif and Judicial Magistrate First Class.

Chief Justice emphasised upon reducing the pendency of cases while inspiring the judges for working hard towards the cause of Justice. He also mentioned that the new complex will be vital in terms of ease of doing court business while creating a conducive environment in the pandemic. He further assured the bar members that the issues shared by them regarding the official procedures will be addressed with priority.
