The membership of Advocate Goverdhan Singh and Advocate Prameshwar Lal Pilania in the High Court Bar Association of Rajasthan, Jaipur, has been terminated with immediate effect.

The Bar Association has requested that the Rajasthan Bar Council conduct an investigation into the two advocates within two months and cancel their registration.

Advocate Govershan Singh had shared a video on social media Accusing Justice Narendra Singh Dhaddha’s Usher of accepting a Bribe from an Advocate.

According to the Bar Association’s Office Order, it received approximately 100 complaints from members of the Bar against the aforementioned Advocates on April 20, 2022, and approximately 50 representations on April 29, 2022.

According to the information received from the Bar, both the Advocates astonishingly made a video viral on Facebook and WhatsApp by forcibly handing over Rs. 100/- to the Usher in the Rajasthan High Court, Jaipur premises.

Furthermore, the Association stated that if a Bribe is demanded of an Advocate, a complaint should be filed with either the authorities of the Rajasthan High Court or the Rajasthan High Court Bar Association, Jaipur.

However, according to the Office Order, the two Advocates made no such complaint and instead circulated a viral video in order to gain cheap publicity as well as to fulfil their Malicious Intent.

According to the Office Order, in order to gain a favourable Order, the two Attorneys made False Allegations against the Attorneys representing the opposing party, putting unnecessary pressure on the Judge to recuse himself.

The Rajasthan High Court Bar Association strongly condemns such action.
