Petition Seeks Injunction Over Release of ‘Jersey’ Movie Filed in Bombay High Court

The Copyright Infringement Suit was filed by Writer Rajneesh Jaiswal against the Producer and Actor Shahid Kapoor for Movie ‘Jersey’ in Bombay High Court.

His script with the Title ‘The Wall’ was registered with Film Writers Association in 2007 which now changed to Screenwriters Association.

He made Obligation that the Script of Movie Jersey is Illegally Plagiarized Copy of his script.

The Negligible changes were made in the Script so to get way from Plagiarism scanner.

“The Defendants have unjustly enriched themselves while causing massive Economic loss to the Plaintiff (Jaiswal),” stated in the Suit.

This practice of Cheating had been adopted so that they don’t have to pay him for his hard work.

Although its Tamil version had already released and was a big success visible from the fact that now it has adapted in Hindi.

The Prayers made in his Petition was following –

Permanent Injunction should be granted on Release of Jersey Hindi Movie over Theatre and Over the Top Platforms.

Distribution of this Movie should be Prohibited in any form.
