India, Australia, The United States of America and Japan comprised of the quad countries.These countries have begun their naval exercise in Bay of Bengal.
Main motive behind this quadrilateral exercise is to give a stringent reply to China. Almost all the nations of the world have suffered because of China by one or the other reason and one of the reasons is its expansionist policy.
The Expansionist Policy is highly troubling especially for Japan, India and various other countries and therefore All the Nations have come together to take a serious step against the wrongful acts of Chinese government.
Quad basically stands for quadrilateral security dialogue which was mooted by Shinzo Abe in 2007 who was the Japanese prime Minister. The quad countries marked the beginning of the naval exercise in Bay of Bengal in the capital of India that is New Delhi.
Along with the four Nations who are a part of quad countries France was even seen participating in the naval exercise on Monday. As per the statement by French minister, ” in addition to the quad countries French warship, Assault Helicopter, Carrier Tonner, Sarkoff Frigate took part in the naval exercise. Different navy is also taking part in what has been dubbed the La Prez Joint Exercise.”
While the beginning of this exercise the arrival of Russian minister of Foreign affairs, Sergey Lavrov took place in India on Monday.
Before the arrival of Russian foreign minister statement from Russian Embassy Moscow came, which stated, “considering the joint efforts on principles of harmony consent and equality to be very important and rejecting the stance of confrontation and polarization.”
This statement came on Sunday and the naval exercise begin on Monday by the quad countries as well as France.
Therefore, the main aim of this Quadrilateral Exercise is to accord a Stringent reply to the Chinese government.
