Congress leader Rahul Gandhi appears before the Enforcement Directorate Regarding the National Herald case in Delhi.

The Congress was planning a Satyagrah march in order to protest against Central Government’s misuse of Central Investigative agencies to allegedly suppress the voice of its political opposition.

However, they were denied permission due to the ‘communal situation’ in the capital.

Recently, A money laundering case linked with the National Herald Associated Journals Ltd, was filed by the Enforcement directorate after a complaint was filed by BJP’s Subramanian Swamy alleging corruption in transactions.

The National Herald was founded by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, published by Associated Journals Limited (AJL) and owned by Young Indian Private Limited.

Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi are both among the shareholders and promoters of Young Indian.
