The Madras High Court has issued a notice to the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) about the Sterlite Protest plea report, which sought to reveal the NHRC probe investigation report in 2018.
As the matter is so sensitive, the NHRC has requested that the copy of the report be sent to the Court in a sealed envelope.
There has been a massive protest against the Sterlite plant, which is necessary.
The scenario took place in 2018 of all the people who were killed were essentially the locals of the area.
The protestors were also shot by police, which was followed by an NHRC inquiry.
