Delhi’s Rohini Dist Court shocked again when today a low intensity blast happened. It is another instance that will sparks concerns about safety of court complex.
Reportedly the blast took place inside courtroom 102 of metropolitan magistrate where traffic-related cases are dealt with. “There was something inside a laptop bag and it exploded inside the court,” Police said.
At least one person sustained injuries after a minor explosion occurred at a Rohini court in Delhi in today’s blast. Though the initial assessment suggested the possibility of a blast in the battery of a laptop, witnesses say that the actual cause of the explosion was a Tiffin Bomb.
Delhi Police in a statement said, “An incident of minor low-intensity explosion in a laptop bag has occurred at Rohini court complex at around 10.30 am. The spot has been cordoned off. Forensic and NSG teams are inspecting and examining it.”
