Kamaal R Khan withdraws plea from SC against Bombay HC order in Defamation Suit

Kamaal R Khan has withdrawn the plea filed in the Supreme Court of India, challenging the interim order of the Bombay High Court restraining him to make any defamatory statements.

The Bombay High Court passed the order in the case filed by Bollywood producer Vashu Bhagnani alleging Kamaal for making numerous allegations against him and his family on social media through tweets and a video.

Kamaal suddenly sought for withdrawal of the petition through his lawyer, Senior Advocate Rakesh Khanna, before the Division Bench of the Bombay High Court.

The Bench of Bombay High Court comprising of Justice KM Joseph and Justice Ravindra Bhatt allowed Kamaal to withdraw of his petition.

The interim order of the Bombay High Court challenged by Kamaal in his petition was issued by Justice AK Menon.

Vashu Bhagnani claimed for Rs. 1 crore filing the defamation suit before the Bombay High Court.

Restraining the regular practice of defaming famous personalities by Kamaal, the Bombay High Court has already passed an interim order but final order in the matter is yet to be made.
