Haridwar Dharam Sansad Case: Two more names added in FIR

The names of Yati Narasimhanand and Sindhu Sagar were also added in the Saturday’s first information report (FIR) filed in connection with the Dharma Sansad Case in Haridwar where hate speeches were being delivered against Muslims.

Section 295 (destruction, damage of place of worship) was added along with Section 153A (promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language) of the Indian Penal Code have been added to the FIR.

However, the officials refused to explain why the new section was added to the FIR.

In the event of Ved Niketan Dham held for three days witnessed many hate speeches provoking violence against the Muslims. This event was organized and hosted by Yati Narasimhanand along with the seer Sindhu Sagar.

Along with the names added now, the people booked in the Case are totalled to five —- Waseem Rizvi aka Jitendra Narayan Tyagi, Sadhvi Annapurna, Dharamdas, Yati Narasimhanand and Sindhu Sagar.

Yati Narasimhanand who has been known as controversial priest of Dasna temple, has been out of the purview of the probe till now.

Rizvi, who was the former president of Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board, had converted to Hindu religion changing his name into Jitendra Narayan Tyagi.
