Former Judge of the Kerala High Court Judge, Justice V Bhaskaran Nambiar, passed away at his residence on Monday, June 6. He was 94 years old.
Justice Nambiar was born in Kannur district in 1927. After completing his bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Madras, he enrolled as a lawyer and started practicing before the Madras High Court.
After shifting his practice to Kerala, he served as the Advocate General from 1981 to 1983.
He was elevated as a Judge of the High Court in 1983. After his retirement in 1989, he practiced law before the Supreme Court for a few years in the early 90s.
A Full Court reference will be held at the High Court in Justice Nambiar’s honour at 10:15 am on Wednesday, June 8.
