The Delhi High Court issued notice on another bail petition filed by the Former AAP Councillor Tahir Hussain in connection with a Delhi Riots case.
Justice Mukta Gupta has directed to submit a status report on this matter and has said that the case should be presented before Justice Yogesh Khanna who is now already busy hearing pending bail petitions filed by Hussain concerning multiple Delhi riots cases.
Senior Advocate Mohit Mathur representing Hussain contended, “A whole lot of FIRs were registered against the petitioner terming him as a conspirator. By chance, this matter has come up before your lordship. Bail pleas under FIR 91 and 92/2020 had gone to Justice Yogesh Khanna and notice was issued for August 6. Let all the matters to be heard by one judge.”
Justice Gupta has issued the notice and has listed the matter before Justice Khanna. Hence the matter will now be further heard with other bail petitions on 6th August.
