A Special Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) court on Thursday dismissed Plea demanding permission for further Probe in Bollywood Actress Jiah Khan’s Suicide case in which Sooraj Pancholi is accused. The trial is already underway in the case.

The matter was adjudicated by Special Judge AS Sayyed .

The Petitions were filed by the CBI and Jiah’s mother Rabia Khan.

Bollywood Actor Sooraj Pancholi son of Bollywood couple Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab was booked for alleged Abetment to Suicide case and is now out on Bail.

The CBI had sought permission from the court to send a ‘dupatta’, which was used by Jiah to hang herself, to the Central Forensic Laboratory in Chandigarh for further analysis.

Advocate Prashant Patil representing the Accused, objected to the Petitions, and contended “The matter has already been decided by the High Court and Supreme court.”

CBI also wanted to send the confiscated cell phones to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the US to retrieve the ‘deleted’ chat between Jiah and Pancholi.

However, the Plea was dismissed by the Special Judge post hearing the arguments.

Actress Jiah Khan, popularly known for her performance in the film ‘Nishabd’, was found hanging at her residence on June 3, 2013. Jiah was in a relationship with Sooraj Pancholi.

The CBI alleged that a three-page note written by Jiah was confiscated by the Mumbai Police (which initially probed the case).

It was alleged that physical abuse and mental and physical torture by said actor forced Jiah to end her life.
