Mumbai congress Chief and Member of Council (MLC) Ashok Jagtap moved Bombay High Court pleading for directions to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) and State Government to grant permission to hold a rally at Shivaji Park, Mumbai.

The Rally is likely to be held between December 22 to 28, 2021 to mark the 137th Foundation Day of the Indian National Congress and Former Congress President and Wayanad Member of Parliament, Rahul Gandhi is expected to direct the Rally.
