On Monday, Acting Chief Justice of the Madras High Court, Justice T Raja, emphasized the importance of hard work and exceptional memory for advocates to succeed in their profession.
He made these remarks while inaugurating a Fast Track court dedicated to handling cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, within the integrated court complex.
Justice T Raja highlighted the unique features of the POCSO Act and stressed that advocates handling such cases should be fully prepared and familiarize themselves with the provisions of the Act. He emphasized that hard work, outstanding memory, and thorough reading are essential qualities for advocates to ensure nothing goes amiss in their work.
The establishment of the Fast Track court signifies the commitment of the judiciary to address cases related to child sexual offenses promptly and efficiently.
