Chhattisgarh HC receives Silver Award for better diffusion of E-Courts

The Chhattisgarh High court was awarded with the Silver Award for their better diffusion and implementation of the E-Courts Project.

The Director General of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Neeta Verma presented the award to Sanjay Kumar Kashyap who is the Scientist-C and Chhattisgarh High Court NIC in-Charge.

Sanjay got the award for his amazing performance and valuable and important contribution which proved to be helpful in the expansion of E-Courts.

According to an official statement, the Project of E-Courts was being implemented under the guidelines of Supreme Court.

The Aim of this Project is to install the latest version of Case Information System in High Courts, District Courts and Taluka level Courts, which is running smoothly, stated Sanjay.

Adding to it, Sanjay also stated that through this process, anyone from any place can access the Data and Case Status of each level of Courts through Online Mode.

Also, for a better and personal use a mobile app of E-Courts is also available and through that app anyone can check their case-status.

Along with this all, Kiosk Machines has also been implemented at all level of Courts making it easy for parties to check their case-status.

Everything is available online, just a click away and in future it will be expanded, said Sanjay.

At the end, showing his gratitude, Sanjay stated that this was possible because of the continuous support, guidance and encouragement of Chhattisgarh High Court Acting Chief Justice Prashant Kumar Mishra and also because of the cooperation of HC’s computerization committee chairman Justice MM Srivastava and all other technical officers and staffs.
