The CBI will produce main accused, Kalyani Singh in court on Tuesday, relating to the Sippy sidhu murder case.
Kalyani, daughter of the Chief Justice of Himachal Pradesh High Court, was arrested last Wednesday by the CBI after being subjected to several rounds of interrogation. She was initially sent to a 4-day police custody on June 15 which was extended by 2 days on June 19.
Sources said that the bureau had taken Kalyani to the spot of Sippy Sidhu’s murder in order to recreate the crime. She had also been taken to Sippy Sidhu’s office at Mohali by the CBI.
The national level shooter and advocate Sukhmanpreet Singh Sidhu a.k.a Sippy Sidhu was shot at a park in Sector 27 on September 20, 2015. A .12 Bore Shot gun was used and four bullets were fired from it.
