Aryan Khan’s (Actor Shah Rukh Khan’s Son) friend and Actor Arbaaz A Merchant’s Advocate had lodged a Bail Plea before the Esplanade Court where he along with other accused will be assembled today for the Trial of the ongoing Cruise Drugs Bust Case.
According to ANI, Merchant is also seeking a investigation on the CCTV footage of the cruise ship “to check if NCB recovered something from Arbaz or it was planted on him.”
He had filed a separate Appeal on the same beside his Bail Plea in the case.
Right Now, Arbaaz was taken by the Narcotics Agency for his routine medical check-up before introducing him in the Mumbai Court at 2:30 pm.
This Day marks the end of their elongated custody under the Narcotics Control Bureau.
Although, the team is expected to ask a further extension of the custody period today after reserving a Foreign National Drug supplier from the Bandra area late Wednesday night.
As per reports, the investigating agency has recovered a commercial bulk of Mepherone (MD) from the supplier who was allegedly found in an area that was in close proximity to both Aryan and his friend, Arbaaz Merchant.
These highlighted serious suspicion of an investigation international drug link.
