The Cyber cell of Mumbai Police on January 17, opposed the Bail plea of the three Accused- Vishal Kumar Jha, Shweta Singh, and Mayank Rawat in the ‘Bulli Bai’ App case by stating that the investigation suggested that the accused were also involved in ‘Sulli Deals’.

The Mumbai Police further argued that there was a possibility that the Accused could flee or tamper with evidence. The Police also told the Court that the Accused were very active on social media and were posting material that could cause a breach of peace in society.

As per the preliminary investigation, the three Accused persons committed the crime with the help of Niraj Bishnoi who is the creator of the ‘Bulli Bai’ App. Apparently, he was arrested by the Delhi police.

The Mumbai Police informed the Court that a team has been sent to Delhi to seek custody of Niraj Bishnoi and Omkareshwar Thakur, both of them apprehended in the ‘Sulli Deals’ App case. Earlier, the Delhi Court had rejected the Bail plea of both Bishnoi and Thakur in the ‘Sulli Deals’ case.

As per reports, Bishnoi who is 20 years old is a B.Tech student and was arrested from Assam by Delhi Police Special Cell’s Intelligence Fusion and Strategic Operations unit (IFSO) team for his alleged involvement in the Bulli Bai case.
