USA President Joe Biden backed the Pentagon’s suggestion to make COVID-19 Vaccination compulsory for American troops by September 15.

“I strongly support Secretary Austin’s message to the force today on the Department of Defense’s plan to add the COVID-19 vaccine to the list of required vaccinations for our service members not later than mid-September. Secretary Austin and I share an unshakable commitment to making sure our troops have every tool they need to do their jobs as safely as possible,” Biden said in a statement.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin recently had furnished a memorandum to the troops that directed all Military members to get vaccinated by September 15.

Joe Biden stated that he was appreciative of the Military for leading the fight against Corona Virus Pandemic and setting an example.

Austin stated that “The US military will have the next several weeks to prepare to implement the vaccine mandate and I have ‘every confidence’ that commanders will implement the mandate with professionalism, skill, and compassion”.

The decision came as the Administration and Governors began placing restrictions on State and Federal employees who refused to attest to their Vaccination status or were Unvaccinated.

Big Private Companies like Google have restarted to implement extra curtailment on Unvaccinated employees.

1 million service members have been fully vaccinated as per the Defense Department.
