The Attorney General’s Civil Rights Unit in Strafford County Superior Court prosecuted a 51-year-old woman for violating the Civil Rights of a 9-year-old by verbally abusing him with racial slur and threatening to kneel on his neck for breaking her son’s toy at a park.

The Attorney General’s Civil Rights Unit stated that the actions of the New Hampshire based woman, Kristina Graper, came with intentions to terrorize and coerce the kid and her intentions were majorly motivated by the race of the kid.

The accused, Kristina Graper’s race was not mentioned in the complaint that was filed. The Accused has been restricted to contact the kid or members of his family and has also been ordered to not go within 250 feet of the boy or his family.

The Accused was granted a civil penalty of 2,500 dollars and 500 dollars deducted from the civil penalty if the Accused complies with the Court. The Accused did not file any kind of response to the Attorney General’s order.

The Complaint stated that the incident ‘distress the child’, who interpreted the woman’s slurs and threatening comments as a reference to the brutal murder of George Floyd in the year 2020. The complaint also stated that the boy is scared of going to the park again and will go there only “when other children are there to help keep him safe.”

The incident comes after the gruesome murder of George Floyd, a 46-year-old Black Man, by a Police Officer Minneapolis, which was caught on footage and seen by millions of people all over the world. The Officer was convicted of manslaughter and murder in April 2021.
